Katrín Jakobsdóttir

Katrín Jakobsdóttir has served as the Prime Minister of Iceland since November 2017 and is Iceland’s second woman to hold that position. She served as Minister of Education, Science and Culture and Minister of Nordic Cooperation 2009-2013. Jakobsdóttir is the Chairman of the Left-Green Movement, a role she has held since 2013, having served as Deputy Chairman 2003-2013. Jakobsdóttir has been Member of Althingi for the Reykjavík North Constituency since 2007. She also serves as the Chair of the Council of Women World Leaders.

Guðmundur Helgason

Data Analyst at CCP Games, with over 10 years of experience in Financial and Behavioural Analytics. Guðmundur holds a degree in both Applied Statistics and Psychology from the University of Iceland. For the past 3 years Guðmundur's focus has been on analysing the behavioural economics of the EVE Online player base.

 

Pálmar Gíslason

Data Scientist at CCP Games for the past 6 months. Prior to joining CCP, Pálmar worked as Data Analyst in the financial sector and a Software Engineer at a pension services company. Holds engineering degrees from University of Iceland and Technical University of Denmark. His focus at CCP has been on the player facing economic reports, as well as A/B testing and analysis on new players.
